Jill & Nick are one adorable couple, and they have one of the cutest stories on how they met. Like a lot of couples nowadays, they met online through Match. They had both been looking for the person they wanted to spend forever with, but nothing seemed to pan out. After a while of failed dates, Nick’s mom decided it was time she help provide some wisdom in the matter. So, she asked Nick to open up his profile, and looked through some potential dates for him and found Jill! Immediately she urged him to message her and they’re so thankful she did!
They hit it off over a string of lengthy emails which Jill says helped, because he probably didn’t have time to email anyone else! We will say that until later in their relationship, Nick didn’t mention that his Mom was a big help.
We loved getting to spend the afternoon with them for their engagement session. They’re so sweet together, and they’re the kindest people. Jill lights Nick up like nothing else, and he balances her with his calm composure and steadiness. It’s a Match made in heaven (see what we did there?). What made their session even cuter was their adorable puppy, Baxter! When Nick proposed to Jill, Baxter was right beside him so it only made sense for them to bring him along.
We can’t wait for their wedding next June at the always beautiful B&A Warehouse! We’ll be working some of our favorite vendors like their awesome wedding planner, Christina, at Christina Sloan Events! It’s going to be one amazing day (if only Baxter could be there).
