Quickly, the “Friday 5” is becoming our favorite weekly tradition! It’s making us slow down and look back at all the weddings we’ve shot over the years. There are SO many sweet moments, stunning details, incredible people and memories we’ve documented for our couples. Every time we look back it makes us more and more thankful for our job as wedding photographers!
This week is no exception… We’re talking about our favorite wedding dresses! Talk about hard to narrow down. How do you choose when each one is beautiful for different reasons? Lace vs. tulle, sleeves vs. sleeveless, train or no train… Wedding dresses are just the BEST!!!
Our favorite part about them if how it shows off each bride’s unique personality and style. Is she laid-back and loves rustic touches? Perhaps she loves high fashion or wants something timeless and classic. On top of that, it’s something that represents so much hope & excitement.
This is the dress she went and picked out with her family & friends to wear on her wedding day. This is the dress she walked down the aisle to marry her groom. What a beautiful moment made even more beautiful by her dress!

Marlania’s dress was so stunning!! The long, lace sleeves were a gorgeous focal point that wowed all her guests & her groom! She was such a classic beauty!
Now, can we take a moment to say “WOW!!!” to the detail of Loran’s wedding dress?! From the lace detailing up top to the intricate little details all the way to the bottom of the train. This one was absolutely gorgeous in every way! Loran’s dress was from Ivory & White Boutique here in Birmingham. 
Haley’s 1920’s inspired gown is the most unique wedding dress we’ve ever seen!! When she first told us about it she mentioned how the bottom looked like butterflies and we never could have imagined just how gorgeous it would be in person. Wasn’t she a breathtaking bride?!
Classic, timeless, and simply fabulous this dress is a beauty. It’s got the perfect touch of southern class! This one is from Bella’s Bridal & Formal-wear and its perfection!
Another’s gorgeous Bella’s Brides (from Bella’s Bridal & Formal-wear). What we loved most about Ashley’s dress was for the ceremony she didn’t have the lace topper but added it for sunset portraits & the reception as an extra touch! Plus, her dress had pockets which is a major win! What a freaking incredible bride inside-and-out.
