A Spring Wedding at Mathews Manor

“You’re my husband!!!” The moment Brianna got to call Chris “husband” for the first time her face lit up. She let it all soak in while they held hands, surrounded by the glow of sunset. Her smile said it all… there was so much joy she could no longer contain it. There was more pride & thankfulness for him and there was no mistaking it. After all this time they were finally married!

That one moment of wonder and awe was the culmination of a beautiful wedding day! Every detail was thoughtfully planned out to reflect their sweet style & love for one another. There were just so many points in the day we stopped and went, “wow, today is amazing!!” From the incredible spring weather to their servant-hearted bridal party it was all so great.

One of those moments was their ceremony. It was one no one in attendance will soon forget. So much honor, reverence & a true spirit of worship marked the whole service. It wasn’t a typical, cliche ceremony and nothing about it felt normal. No. Instead, it was full of life, encouragement, and a clear display of God’s love & His vision for marriage. It reflected so much of the love Brianna & Chris have for God & each other.

Reflecting on their wedding day, we’re thankful we got to walk alongside them in this time of joy. Every little moment we got to watch them with their biggest smiles, their thankfulness & excitement overflowing. They walked through the day with grace & kindness towards everyone in attendance and their incredible characters shined.

Now, we can’t wait to see what God does in their marriage! If their wedding day was a small sneak peek we know that it will be a lifetime full of God’s love & blessings! Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Whitehead!!
