WOW!!! It has been such a challenge keeping such a huge secret… we’ve officially been published in Southern Bride Magazine!! To be selected for such an in-demand magazine feels surreal. We’re so incredibly honored to see our work amongst such talented wedding vendors! Plus, it’s all for our favorite new venue, Oak Meadow Event Center!
We’ve had this shoot deep in our hearts for a long time & waited to find the perfect southern wedding venue. No kidding!! At least 2 years ago we sat down with our friend Christina and dreamed up a farmhouse-inspired wedding made for real brides. Not some editorial shoot that would leave you feeling like it was impossible to replicate for your real wedding. We wanted something that appealed to real-life southern brides.
Little did we know it wasn’t even built when we first thought of it years ago! So, when we saw Oak Meadow Event Center being built in Ohatchee, Alabama we knew it was meant to be!
It’s the perfect modern farmhouse style! The perfect place for our classic southern wedding inspiration! We’re so thankful to every incredible vendor who helped make this dream shoot come true! Especially our friend Christina, who was formerly owner of Christina Sloan Events. Now she’s on to opening her own plus-sized wedding boutique here in Birmingham. What an honor to help her go out with a bang with this shoot! Also to Joy and her team at Oak Meadow Event Center, she’s literally a ray of sunshine!
