There’s wasn’t a classic romance. No, instead it was a slow growing, sweet relationship that was built on friendship, distance, and time. They met where all great love stories start, the CrossFit gym! For months, they remained “just friends” until Lynsey finally realized Kyle was someone she could see herself with. From there they dated on-and-off until Lynsey got a promotion that made her move away from Birmingham.
It should have ended there, but Kyle was persistently the kind of man every girl hopes for. Although they were “just friends” again Kyle kept in touch. He even mailed her a birthday card every year (how sweet, y’all?!)! Then, one fateful day 4 years after they met, they reconnected when Kyle called her just to catch up. It didn’t take long for them to meet back up & start a long distance relationship, finding ways to see each other whenever they could.
That’s when Lynsey started searching for a way to come back to Birmingham to be with him. Thankfully she got a new job here this year and they are finally back together in the city where it all started!! Now they’re engaged and planning for a lifetime together and it’s so sweet. They’ve got such a fun, natural relationship together too! Its fun to see how Kyle can make her laugh so easily and keeps things light and fun in their relationship. Oh, and the way Lynsey smiles at him would melt anyone’s heart!
We are overjoyed that we also get to shoot their wedding at the gorgeous Barn at Shady Lane next year! Talk about a dream in the making!
