Back in high school Jacob & Emmy met through their church, Mountaintop Community Church here in Birmingham. Jacob was starting his senior year & Emmy her junior year of high school when they met. Their paths crossed thanks to a small group they both attended. With each Tuesday meeting they started to notice each other, and eventually a friendship started to grow. They grew closer and closer so that by the time the following January rolled around they were good friends. So, it made total sense for Emmy to ask Jacob to the Sadie Hawkins dance! After that Jacob knew he wanted to be with her and by February he asked her to be his valentine!
Valentines was their first date, which come on, is totally the cutest thing ever. Not to mention that on that very night he asked her to prom. It had been Emmy’s dream throughout high school to go, and with Jacob?! It was a dream come true! Now fast forward to today and they’re still just as adorable as ever together. Just see for yourself how these two look at each other and you’ll see so much into their relationship. There is so much joy, so much excitement between them and you can just tell they adore each other!
From the Sadie Hawkins to an engagement ring these two have grown their relationship into something so beautiful and fruitful. You can see how God has developed them into such a strong couple. We just can’t wait to see how He grows them from here! If their past is any indication of their future, we’d say it’s going to be a journey full of love, joy, and so many blessings 🙂
