Six years ago, on a night neither Katherine or Tim will ever forget, a boy met a girl. Not only did they meet, but they met through a blind date, the most traditional way to meet of course. Katherine was looking for a night in, not wanting to do more than rest. That’s when her little in her sorority, Danielle asked her to go out. Danielle was dating Tim’s best friend/roommate (Blake–who will be one of our groomsmen at their wedding!) and she begged Katherine to go to a redneck social at Blake and Tim’s fraternity house.
Next thing Katherine knew Danielle was at her dorm saying she was being picked up in 10 minutes for the blind date. After realizing there was no avoiding it, Katherine decided it was time she had some fun. When she got to the social, she immediately noticed that Tim was the life of the entire party. Everyone loved him!! He could easily talk to anyone about anything. Katherine says that’s one of the things she loves most about him. Right there on the blind date she didn’t know she needed she started falling for him.
Fast forward to over 6 years later, and now they are engaged and getting married! Together they’re just so darned sweet, kind, and so easy to talk to. They both have personalities that draw you in with their gentle energy. You can tell they bring out the best in one another and the way they look at each other… it will make you take notice!
We can’t wait for their wedding next Spring here in Birmingham at Iron City! If it is half as sweet as they are it will be such an incredible, beautiful day! They have a lot of amazing plans in store we can’t wait to see come to life 🙂
