Time slowed down for Jenny as she held Carter close. Standing in the middle of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens in their wedding attire was the moment it all hit her. Here they were, taking photos on their wedding day! Just looking at him brought up a world of emotions from love to pride and joy. She couldn’t help but start crying as those sweet emotions overcame her. Jenny was finally getting to marry the man of her dreams.
Words can’t fully portray how incredible their elopement was. It felt like pure joy, anticipation, thoughtfulness, and love all amplified into one amazing day. They were blessed with perfect weather, and a gorgeous day in every way! Really, you could tell they were just so excited it was finally their day. As Carter said, after everything they’ve had to go through to get to this point, they deserved how wonderful it all turned out to be.
From the gorgeous chinoiserie details (gotta love Jenny & Katie’s bond over what Jenny called “old lady patterns”) to Jenny’s incredible bridal look, it was all so beautiful! Her wedding bands alone make us want to stop and stare for a while. They are just so unique and so fitting of Jenny! Not to mention the beautiful light they got for photos at the Botanical Gardens. That kind of dreamy light definitely doesn’t happen every day here in Birmingham! As you scroll through their highlights in a moment, you’ll see how intentional every little detail was.
