When asked moments after stepping into her wedding dress if it felt real yet, Laura Kathryn said “no, it feels so surreal.” She knew she was a bride, and she knew she’d be walking down the aisle to Brock in just a few short hours. After waiting for so long though, it hadn’t hit her yet that it was finally happening. Months of planning will do that to a girl. From their first date so many years ago where she first fell for him until now, she had dreamed of this moment. It wasn’t until she stood outside the chapel with her dad that it finally set in…
Excitement overtook her and she kept saying “it’s real” and “it’s finally happening!!” For those lucky enough to be standing outside the chapel it was a moment of true joy in its purest form! Laura Kathryn was beaming as she rounded the corner with her dad & down the aisle to Brock. Getting to witness their sincere vows to one another was an honor for everyone who attended.
If we had to pick one word that described their entire day, it would be just that, joy! Laura Kathryn & Brock spent the whole day laughing together, having fun with their friends, & enjoying their wedding day at Vestavia Country Club. The warm Summer weather couldn’t have been more gorgeous for them either. Summer rain is always a worry but they had a day full of puffy white clouds & blue skies! With the rolling greens of the golf course, it was something special.
We could keep going on about how sweet their story is, how incredible they are as a couple, how much we loved their day at Vestavia Country Club… but you get it. Words can’t really do them justice, so we’ll let the photos do the talking for us.
