He wasn’t supposed to be there. Caitlin though Kyle was back at home while she was away on a work trip, when in reality he was right here in the Magic City cooking up a surprise. With the help of her best friends he had worked hard to come up with the perfect plan to propose and it was go time. She had come up to visit them and they’d talked her into go out to a wedding vendor party at “the Club.” She was reluctant to get all dressed up and go but her friends were pretty persuasive. Sweet Hannah, from Hair By Hannah, is one of those persuasive friends and she convinced Caitlin to allow her to doll her up. So she came looking like a movie star, ready for a party and not expecting a proposal.
Meanwhile, Kyle his & Caitlin’s family arrived early to get in place for the surprise!! He did such a fabulous job planning it all and now it was time to ask her to marry him. When Caitlin and her friends showed up and walked in, Kyle popped out in front of the glass door and surprise flashed across her face. She knew something was up the moment she saw him. He wasn’t supposed to be in Birmingham, so it had to be big! He slipped her hand in his and walked her down to the city overlook as she tried to soak in all that was happening. Then, just like that he got down on one knee and pulled out the most stunning engagement ring and popped the question.
Her reaction was priceless and she quickly said “yes!!!” Then, in a moment you could see the same look of surprise cross her face as she saw us shooting, and then her family off in the distance! It was such a sweet, thoughtful proposal and they got to share it with the ones they love. Does it get any sweeter than that?? (We’ll tell you now, no, it doesn’t get any better!!) Caitlin said it best thought, “Perfect. I’m not one to typically believe in perfection and fairy-tales, but our proposal was p e r f e c t.”
