We met sweet Starr & Garret at the Engaged Wedding Library bridal show this past September! It was our first ever bridal show and we didn’t know exactly what to expect but it allowed us to meet so many incredible couples. While there, Starr & Garret signed up at our booth. Now four months later we’ve had the honor to shoot their engagement session!!
They’ve known each other their entire lives and it wasn’t until they were older that they realized they were meant for more. Garret asked Starr out and the rest is history. Now here they are celebrating 6 years of dating and a new anniversary (their wedding day)!!
The day of their session it rained ALL. DAY. LONG. Like, buckets upon buckets of rain. Our original plan of Moss Rock wasn’t a real option for safety reasons. So, when Starr asked about the gardens we got so excited! The Greenhouse at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens is one of our favorite places to shoot because it’s so darn cool & unique for the city. It’s covered which meant it was dry, and all glass which still allowed us to have gorgeous, dreamy light. That’s a win-win for us photographers!
We’re so thankful they decided to brave the rain and we love how their session turned out! Plus, these two are so natural together which made it all the more fun!
