2015 has been a phenomenal year full of unexpected changes, blessings, and honestly some very rough times. For Alec and I we have had experiences like never before. The biggest blessing for us this past year has been launching Katie & Alec Photography. Before this I was helping Alec with his own endeavors & it just made sense for us to join forces to create something even more beautiful. We never would have thought this would be the path we would be led down, but now we couldn’t picture it any other way! So far God has brought us so much joy and life as we’ve been able to pursue something we absolutely love! This year our KA brides and couples have changed our lives through their kindness, their love, and their encouragement.
This year has also held its fair share of struggles, discouragement, and pain for us. We can’t and won’t try to pretend that this year has been picturesque. Marriage is hard, having healthy relationships in families and friendships is difficult, and overall life itself is never easy. This is something we know God has purposed for good and that has led us forward to keep pushing on. We recently read that the most successful people and business men are the ones who can feel the pain of rejection and continue on with more determination and understanding. This is our goal and we know that the pain is only temporary.
So here’s to 2016. Here’s to new friends, new chances, and new opportunities to grow. Here’s to making this year better and growing as believers. Here’s to dreaming bigger, hustling harder, and pursuing all that God has for you. 2016 is going to be as good as we make it & we plan to make it absolutely amazing!! This year is going to be the best yet and we can’t wait to grow our business and our relationships like never before!
