Their pastor spoke about them like he would his own children. In a way it felt like they were to the whole church because they had grown up at St. Elias. Between church events and regular services Matthew & Miriam were around each other, a lot! They were friends for a lot of their lives, and Matthew took notice of how amazing Miriam was by the time they were in highschool. Once he began pursuing more with her he had his work cut out for him…
Miriam shut him down and didn’t want to ruin their friendship, like any sane woman ;). He accepted the challenge though and finally got her to go out with him after months of trying. What started as an awkward first date lead to prom, then prom lead to a few more dates, before they knew it they were official! It didn’t take long after that for them to realize they had something real and amazing. Fast forward 7 years and here they were at the altar in the very church they grew up in surrounded by their closest family & friends. It had all lead up to this moment. They were finally sealing the deal as husband & wife.
Their wedding day was such an adventure for everyone involved! It was a true Lebanese party with so many rich traditions, a beautiful service, and a party to rival all parties. From the moment they were announced at the reception the party didn’t stop. It was like everyone knew how to tear it up on the dance floor! We’ve never been a part of something so fun! It’s also doesn’t hurt when you’ve got the best DJ ever, so they had everything going for them in the party department!! It really was the most fun & amazing way to celebrate such a fun, incredible couple. We just can’t wait to see the amazing life they build together now and how their marriage will grow.

When Matthew & his groomsmen surprised everyone with a choreographed dance for the garter toss we just about lost it! It was totally the best reception surprise we’ve ever seen!
