Talk about a dream session in a dream location! Charlotte, North Carolina is so gorgeous & full of life! We had a blast getting to explore the city with Lauren & Benny during their session. It was extra special since they have such a heart for this city!
Lauren & Benny are just such a phenomenal couple! From the moment we met them over Facetime we realized they were a special couple. Meeting them in Charlotte confirmed that 1,000 times over! These two college sweethearts are generous, thoughtful, and oh-so-sweet. They’ve got such a strong love for life & for each other that’s unmistakeable. Really, there aren’t enough kind things we could say about them.
Even their engagement story is more adorable than you could imagine. Lauren had planned a trip to Savannah, Georgia, which is super close to their hearts. What made the trip even better was Benny’s best friend had offered to surprise him by traveling to meet them. Lauren thought she had the best surprise for him! What she didn’t know is he had actually instigated the whole thing…
He had his friend reach out on purpose to throw her off the trail. Once they were in Savannah walking around & the “surprise” was out of the bag Benny spilled the beans… he knew his friend was coming. “You know I knew Chad was coming right?,” he said to her. Upset that her surprise had been foiled she started walking away when he said, “Please let me tell you how I knew he was coming”.
At that moment she turned around there he was on one knee asking her to marry him! She didn’t realize it was real until she noticed all of their friends taking videos and pictures. He said that he created the “surprise” that Chad was coming in order to keep her distracted from the real plan which was the proposal! How sweet is that?! We have to say, he did a pretty amazing job surprising her!
We can’t wait for their wedding next year in Rhode Island at the Newport Beach House! Hearing all the things they have planned gets our wedding-loving hearts more than excited. They’re going to have the most gorgeous day full of love & joy!
