The officiant looked out at the crowd surrounding Bre & Daniel in the Theodore and said, “she is the storm and he is the calm.” Those words ring so true of them, she is bright and bubbly, he is steady and reserved. One without the other just doesn’t work, but together there is a perfect balance and all is right in the world. Here they were about to make that balance a permanent part of their lives through promise through marriage.
Their whole wedding day was one of thoughtful moments and surprises. There were so many moments that made us go, “wow,” inside as we watched them unfold. The most memorable is one we have to share. Bre loves gifting people and thinking of ways she can surprise the people she loves most. If you know her at all you know she loves Daniel more than anything and it shows in everything she does. So, while they were planning their wedding she wanted to work up her biggest surprise ever…
She wanted to honor his mother, who he lost to cancer five years ago. More than anything she wanted him to have a piece of her close to his heart throughout their wedding day. So, she took his mom’s original engagement ring and had it melted down and made into a tie clip. At the end of the clip is the diamond that sat in the setting of her ring. It is more beautiful than you could imagine. Moments after their first look she pulled out the box with it, choking back tears as she shared the story. Slowly, she opened the box and his face said it all, it was the most perfect gift he could ever receive from her. They both shed tears, taking in the intensity of that moment, both holding on to each other tight.
Can we just say, it doesn’t get better than these two? We could tell you 10 more thoughtful moments from their day where they went above and beyond to love and serve people. Or, we could talk about the stunning details this stylish couple had, and there were a TON of those!! We could easily talk about how gorgeous the Theodore, their venue, was or the joy they shared. Really, we don’t feel like we can do it all justice, so we would rather let the photos talk for us. Be warned though, there are a lot of them because we couldn’t narrow it down to just a few photos. Bre & Daniel deserved a full post full of these amazing moments!

This tie clip was the most perfect way to honor Daniel’s mother for their wedding day. We loved having it with his details to photograph it before he knew it existed.
