Picture it: a gorgeous summer day in Alabama. The kind of day that sounds full of life with lush green plants and grass, crickets chirping, and fluffy white clouds overhead. Camelot Manor stood as a beautiful white canvas ready for the incredibly fun and bright color palette of the day. It felt like a fairytale moment come to life amidst the property for Reagan and Scott. Almost as romantic as their love story itself.
It started all because of book club… Honestly, the writers of modern love stories couldn’t have picked a more perfect setup for their characters, and Reagan and Scott are living it out in their own real-life romance.
Reagan started hosting a book club at a bookstore in Trussville, and Scott’s sister joined. They became friends, and his sister Summer set them up on a blind date. She knew they’d be an incredible match, and they haven’t gone a day without talking since! They immediately hit it off and knew quickly that they had found their forever person in the other.
Their story is honestly better than any fictional romance because they get to soak in all the incredible moments of their happily ever after. They will be the ones writing the next chapters together, and everyone in their lives will get to watch their story unfold with time.
Reagan and Scott’s wedding day at Camelot Manor was colorful, lively, and so sweet. Their friends and family lavished them with so much love it felt palpable. The design came together impeccably. Everything was planned to a T. That was until our favorite moment of the day…
We stepped into the field next to Camelot Manor to capture sunset photos. In the background, dark storm clouds were looming, but it didn’t seem like rain was inevitable any moment until it started pouring rain on us. Without thinking twice, Scott scooped his bride up into his arms and ran full speed towards the safety of the front porch. He set her down, and they both laughed at how wild that moment had been. It’s such a testament to the character of their marriage; they find so much joy in the other person that even the most unexpected and difficult moments are so much better when they’re together.
We truly believe that their wedding wasn’t the best day of their lives, but rather one of the best days of their lives. The joy now will be watching them live in the fullness of marriage and enjoy the best days of their lives, together.
Blessings,
Katie & Alec
