Kenley & Cody grew up together, only they didn’t realize it. Both of them went to the same school since elementary school but never had classes together. Fast forward to their Junior year of high school and things would quickly change forever. A mutual friend of theirs just knew they would hit it off, if only they would meet! So, one day that sweet friend orchestrated it all and set up a group hangout for the three of them.
That day they just walked around their school’s soccer field talking and getting to know each other. No one really knew just how much that one walk would impact their futures. Now, here they are eight years later getting ready for the biggest walk of their lives, the walk down the aisle! Their story is so classic and so darned sweet it just gets us! Plus, Kenley & Cody are just so wonderful together. It’s obvious they’re an incredible match!
We are just so thankful we finally got to make their engagement session happen! After having to reschedule multiple times between this pandemic and weather it finally worked out. Thankfully, it could not have been a more gorgeous day!! That glowy sunset over the Birmingham city skyline was nothing short of stunning. Truly, it’s one of the more gorgeous sunsets we’ve seen this year! It couldn’t have happened for a more deserving couple and we’re just so glad they were patient with the rescheduling process.
Now, we just can’t wait for their wedding day at one of our favorite venues, Mathews Manor! Thankfully, we don’t have to wait long as it’s coming up this July!! It’s going to be so much fun getting to celebrate this incredible couple and their marriage! Until then, their gorgeous engagement session will hold us over 🙂
