They were supposed to meet Drew’s friends at El Barrio, Emilee’s favorite restaurant. On their way there they walked by the Wine Loft where they had their first date. He gently suggested that they should get a drink there first, and Emilee went along without a second thought. When they went inside the place was abnormally empty. As they went to find a seat, Drew had the booth were they had their first date decorated with candles, flowers, and photos. That’s when it hit her, he was about to propose!!
After he proposed to her he took her to Carrigans, where their family and friends were waiting to surprise her. They spent that night soaking up every moment of that “just engaged” feeling with their loved ones. It was truly a night to remember and we have to say Drew did an incredible job!! The thoughtfulness of it all is so sweet!
We first met with Emilee & Drew over Facetime (thanks Covid-19). Right away we knew they were our type of people, but we didn’t know it would get even better in person! From the moment they walked up for their engagement session they were so darned funny and lively!! Even more so, they’re seriously naturals in front of the camera… just wait until you see them together!!
It’s not often that we find ourselves leaving a session with our cheeks hurting from smiling so much. Emilee and Drew are just so fun and have incredible personalities! They spent the entire session making each other (and us) laugh and smile. Emilee has such a fun, bright personality and Drew knows just how to make her light up with his humor and charm. They make total sense together and we can’t wait until they’re husband-&-wife. They’re going to make the best team!!
We seriously can’t wait to get these two married next May! They’ve chosen two of the most gorgeous venues in the city, Canterbury United Methodist and the Florentine. It’s sure to be a fun and love-filled day celebrating them! Let the countdown begin 🙂
