Let’s just say what we’re all thinking in these crazy times: Covid sucks. Lindsey & David had a gorgeous Summer wedding day planned for here in Birmingham in June. With all the uncertainty surrounding weddings Lindsey & David had to make the incredibly difficult decision to postpone. They were heartbroken but knew they had made the right decision. When they envisioned their wedding day they just couldn’t imagine not having everyone they love there with them.

They reached out not long after to see if they could schedule a second engagement session. It was a strange request, but strange times called for strange calls. So, we put it on the calendar. Between the time we talked and the session date they had a change of heart. Lindsey & David had weighed all the pros and cons and decided they just couldn’t wait to be married. That’s what mattered more than anything else to them, so the engagement session turned into a micro wedding.

In just a few short of weeks and while in Texas they planned the most incredible day! They found Anderson Gail Farms, a stunning venue in the country and made it happen. Lindsey even ordered a new wedding dress online from China. When she told us about it, she said, “we decided if it fit, we’d elope. If it didn’t we’d have waited until the Spring.” Clearly it fit like a dream and she looked so gorgeous and they chose to elope! So, with just a pastor, their videographers and us in tow they finally tied the knot! It was a day full of sweet moments, true joy, and more love than you could imagine.

Lindsey & David showed just how incredible they are in every little detail. From both of them promising to eat tons of Mexican food together in their vows to their heart-felt gifts it was so sweet. They even live-streamed the day so their families could be a part of the festivities, even in a safe socially-distanced way.

Now, we can’t wait to celebrate with them again next Spring at Mathew’s Manor! We know it’s going to be extra special having their friends and family there to celebrate with them. Until then, we’re going to keep swooning over their micro wedding at Anderson Gail Farms 🙂
