Each and every year we love to take a look back on all that God has done in our business & all the incredible celebrations we have been a part of. In true 2020 fashion though we ended the year exhausted after shooting 27 weddings/elopements in under 5 months and countless other sessions. We just wanted to hibernate for the Winter.
What happened though as things slowed down and we took time to intentionally rest is we found ourselves getting excited. We wanted to take time to look back and find all the reasons we could to be thankful for 2020. As hectic as it was, it brought blessings and taught us so much. In a time where plenty of businesses went under or struggled to survive we were blessed to watch our business bounce back and more than that, it thrived in the latter half of 2020.
We are just so thankful that we took the time to go through all our sessions for the year and choose our favorites. We shot over 100 different couples, families, and seniors during this past year. To say it was difficult to narrow it down is a massive understatement. So, we pulled our favorite photos from all our 2020 weddings, engagements, proposals, and senior sessions to help narrow it down.
It was such an honor to be welcomed into so many special moments. We got to continue working with our favorite ministry, the Heart Gallery of Alabama. We got to shoot at some of our all-time favorite venues like Oak Meadow Event Center, Camelot Manor, and the Sonnet House. We even got to see past K&A couples to help celebrate their maternity sessions, anniversaries, and pregnancy announcements. These sessions took us to new places like Raleigh, NC, and some of our favorites like Alys Beach in 30A.
All that to say, like every year, this is hands down our longest blog post of the year! We hope you’ll love every incredible moment, every tearful first look, and every gorgeous detail as much as we do.
To everyone who allowed us to photograph their lives in 2020, we love and appreciate you. Thank you so much for believing in our business and blessing us! It is truly one of the greatest honors of our lives to be able to serve you!
