Before we can dig into Allie’s gorgeous maternity session, we need to give a little backstory. Recently, we partnered with some incredible local Birmingham vendors to do a giveaway. Tons of people submitted nominations for it sharing stories of Covid 19 frontline workers. The prize was a total makeover! A new outfit, a facial, hair & makeup, nails, and a mini photo session with us was the prize.
Allie has been on the frontline of the pandemic since the beginning as a nurse. She’s worked so hard to serve her patients with compassion and has helped so many. Her incredible heart for people has kept her going, even though it’s been a difficult journey. Allie’s story is actually one we’ve watched closely, as she is a past Katie & Alec bride! We’ve had the honor of photographing her engagement session, wedding, and now her maternity photos!
When we found out that she was the winner of the giveaway we couldn’t have been more thrilled! Allie is the type of person everyone wants to be around! She genuinely lights up every room she walks into, and she’s the life of the party! We just knew that her maternity session would be such a blast and it truly was.
Getting to catch up on the last couple of years of Allie’s life was so refreshing. We loved getting to hear all about how she and her husband are doing, and of course her adorable pup, Ramsey! More than anything though, it was just such an honor to document another chapter in her life. We’re just so dang proud of her! She’s going to be one incredible momma to her sweet baby boy!
