Timing is everything. This age-old saying has survived throughout the years because so often it is true. For Madison and Jake, they understand this saying well. They grew up going to the same school from the time they were in 4th grade. It wouldn’t be until years and years later that they would connect in a new way.
In 2019 they happened upon each other’s profiles on a dating app. After a few simple messages, they moved on, not knowing the seed that they had just planted for the future. A few short months later they ran into one another in person at the Iron Bowl and Jake knew it was time to make his move. He quickly reached out and made a move, asking for her number! After a magical first date on New Year’s Eve, things ended with a kiss at midnight. Talk about romantic! From there, the rest is history! Madison and Jake have been together ever since.
Their engagement session was such a sweet way to celebrate this season of life for them. They were so joyful smiling, making silly faces at one another, and whispering in between shots, just enjoying their time together. Both of them were also fabulous in front of the camera and have us so excited for their wedding day!
They are engaged now and planning a beautiful Spring wedding at one of our favorite venues, the Barn at Shady Lane. It is sure to be a sweet, fun-filled day just like Madison and Jake. We also have to say, we’re extra excited because we shot Jake’s brother’s wedding years ago and we’re so honored to document another wedding day for their incredible family!
