After a high school football game, Taylor and Lucy met in the world’s most romantic spot imaginable, the parking lot of Sonic Drive-Thru in Florence, Alabama. At least it was romantic for teenage Taylor and Lucy in the sweet new guy moves to town story (who doesn’t love that?)! When he saw her, he said he knew he had to get to know her. From there, their love story unfolded in the modern teenage way over Snapchat.
Ever since they met and started talking, they haven’t stopped being each other’s best friends. Now, they’re college graduates ready to take on the world as a married couple! Is there anything more precious than high school sweethearts lasting a lifetime (hint: the answer is no!).
Their engagement session was so special because it took place in the town they met and fell in love in. It’s where Lucy grew up and where they’ll get married next year. They even got to take pictures at Lucy’s grandparents’ lakehouse, which she has used to photograph other people over the years. Now, it is her turn, and it was such an honor to capture her as a bride! If we forgot to mention, Lucy is a photographer too, and we’re so honored she chose us to be her wedding photographers!
We know that their wedding day will be so meaningful as it will be held at their home church in Florence. We can’t wait to celebrate with them there next May!! It is going to be such a beautiful day full of love and joy and a whole lot of laughter if we got a glimpse of that at their engagement.
