Kadi + Bailey showed up to their engagement session understandably nervous. Being in front of the camera is not natural for most people, so it can be understandably nerve-wracking. We encouraged them that the feeling was normal and that we would ensure they felt comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera. It did not take very long into the session for them to relax and start having a fun time together! Just wait until you see the smile on Kadi’s face in so many of the photos!
They ended up having a great time, which made us, as photographers, unbelievably happy. There is nothing sweeter than being able to draw out the happiest versions of our couples so they get photos that feel so true to who they are together.
Their love story is a sweet one full of redemption and growth. They started dating in high school and were together for 4 years. As they graduated and started their lives as adults, they went their separate ways. They decided to figure out what life looked like on their own and did not expect it to lead them back to one another. Now, they have been together for another 2 years and are planning their lives together forever.
Next spring, their wedding will be an intimate affair here in Southern Alabama. They are excited to have a more paired back day with their closest family and friends there to celebrate with them. Smaller wedding days are our favorites, and we can’t wait for their wedding to arrive! It will surely be a day filled with love, laughter, and excitement.
