Motion Student Conference 2025 Recap: “Here Am I, Send Me!”
What a privilege it is to witness God move in such powerful ways through the next generation! Every summer, the Motion Student Conference is a highlight of our year, and 2025 was no exception. We’re always blown away by the energy, the worship, and the incredible life change that happens when thousands of students and leaders gather under one roof to encounter Jesus.
This year’s theme, Isaiah 6:8—
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I; send me!’”set the tone for a weekend of surrender, purpose, and bold faith. Y’all, this next generation is moving in a powerful way with God!

Our Experience
Alec and I (Katie) spent Thursday through Saturday capturing the joy, worship, and life-changing moments that make Motion so special. Every year, we are so grateful to be welcomed back as photographers for this event—it’s a true honor to be part of a team of such talented and passionate photographers, all working together to tell the story of what God is doing (and when we say talented, the people on this team are insane!!! Like, we couldn’t look up to them any more than we do!).
One of our favorite things is serving alongside the phenomenal Church of the Highlands staff and the Dream Team. Their hard work, encouragement, and ridiculous talent truly make this conference possible. We’re especially thankful for the Dream Team volunteers (including several of our past brides and grooms!) who poured themselves out to serve students with joy and love. We see you, and we’re so grateful for you!
God Moved in Powerful Ways
The highlight of the weekend: witnessing 1,232 salvations! That’s 1,232 lives forever changed, and we’re still in awe of what God did in that arena. The energy, the worship, the messages—every moment pointed to Jesus and the call to say, “Here am I, send me!”
