Dear Katie,
Today is our anniversary! We’ve been Katie & Alec Dixon for 2 years now. It’s been an amazing two years, especially as we help each other support Katie & Alec Photography. Of course, you are way more special and worthy than just being a good photographer. In that case, I’ve listed 10 other things that I love about you.
- You have the cutest handwriting. There have been multiple times where I have been asked to write my name and asked you to write it for me. That’s because your handwriting is so much more presentable than mine.
- I love your admiration & appreciation for CiCi’s pizza. That’s been a place where we had some great dates. It is a restaurant that even served us as children, but now they’ve destroyed all the locations in our area. Luckily, you have a great time stopping by any of them while we are out of town.
- You compliment strangers everywhere we go. “Cute nails”, “I love your hair”, “You’re doing a great job”, & “I love your shoes” are some of the many things I hear you say whenever we go out. You are so sweet.
- I love your habit of singing the theme song to whatever show we watch. Whenever we view television, you can’t help but sing the theme song as it plays. Even when fighting the urge, you end up humming it.
- I love how much our cat loves you. Most cats have the stereotype of being mean and selfish, but Dixie will often find herself cuddling up next to you.
- You’d rather prefer a big city. Many people prefer a nice, quiet environment with a lot of greenery. I love how you would rather find yourself out in a big city for a nice meal and live performance.
- It’s cute how whenever you want something, you work incredibly hard to obtain it. For example, I’m certain that we’re never getting some little pug, but you work very hard to remind me how you’ll make sure it happens.
- You still operate with your high school email address. Usually when students go to college and graduate, they take all their website subscriptions and begin to use a new, more mature login, but not “Postage Gurl”. I think that is really cute.
- You work incredibly with children. You have an amazing talent of taking care of them. This makes me very excited and confident for when we decide to have kids. This also allows me to act less mature from time-to-time. I know you can handle it.
- You’re able to get a lot of work done late at night. This helps us become an amazing team. I love to get up early and begin working, and you find it easy to stay up late and finish much of what we started. What a great duo!
The Lord has given me a woman to walk alongside that I love so much. I’m so thankful for you and everything that you bring. I can’t wait for the many more years to come. Until then, let’s make the most out of what we have now.
