Becca & Jarrett’s Vulcan Park Wedding

Becca & Jarrett’s wedding day was something everyone had been waiting for for a long time. They began dating nine years ago and got engaged in April of 2015. So as you can see, it had been a long time coming. Becca & Jarrett’s relationship has been tested by time, and they’ve grown together over the years. All that time spent waiting, simply made the day so much sweeter, as these two were so ready to be married. Rather than being high-strung and nervous, they knew that the day was special and they soaked in every moment with calm hearts. Alec and I loved watching their day unfold!

Their wedding day in two words was “so them”. From how laid back and relaxed they were, the entire day to Becca’s famous, homemade cupcakes represented them so well. They were married, overlooking the city underneath an arbor that Jarrett built just for Becca. With the sun setting and their closest friends and family surrounding them, they said “I do” and began their marriage.

The part of the wedding day that Alec and I had the most fun photographing was the reception! There was such a great atmosphere that was set with good music, close friends, and the smell of delicious food. Becca and Jarret chose to have a taco bar (that was amazing!) and Moscow Mules as their signature drink. After dinner, the dancing started! They had some of the liveliest friends who danced the night away with them and made the party even more fun! To end it all, they left through a tunnel of handmade ribbon wands and are off to their honeymoon in Orlando!

Blessings,

Katie

Speaking of DIYing, Becca hand-made cupcakes in place of a traditional wedding cake!
