The morning of Justin & Abigail’s engagement session it was threatening rain, and well, just gloomy. Alec and I watched the weather like crazy praying for beautiful light and some cool breezes. By the time we started shooting we had both and the sun really showed of with some perfectly glowy light just for them! It really couldn’t have turned out any better!
Right off the bat these two were so comfortable in front of the camera and brought their A-game the entire time. The entire session we were sharing funny puns, giggling, and just having the best time. Justin & Abigail are so much fun to be around! The moments in between us talking were spent with the two of them exchanging the sweetest smiles and simply bursting with joy. Together these two are so dynamic, so in sync, and seriously in love (the perfect combination for beautiful photos)!
Alec and I found this new parking deck to shoot at downtown and it turned out to be the perfect spot with some of Birmingham’s prettiest skyscrapers as our backdrop. We seriously love the images from it and Justin & Abigail were the perfect couple to make it happen! Having Justin take some photos in his fireman’s uniform was also incredibly special! It was such an honor to capture a small tribute to his service of our community. Plus, Abigail looked adorable in his helmet if I do say so myself.
After this super fun and gorgeous session Alec and I cannot wait for their wedding this November at YellowLeaf Creek Mill! Their venue has a waterfall built in to it and they’re getting married on the water!! Could it get any more exciting? Until then we hope you love this session as much as we do!
