A few words that could describe Eric and Ashley’s wedding: stunning, joyful, urban, and breathtaking. I could keep going on and on, but I’ll let you witness it for yourself. From the very beginning of the day there was an almost tangible feeling of peaceful joy. It was beautiful to see how calm Ashley was because she knew in a matter of hours that she would finally be Mrs. Clements. Once you get Eric and Ashley together they’re an unstoppable source of joy. In the quiet moments between photos, greeting people, or the other wedding day necessities, they would be in their own world laughing together as it hit them that they were moments away from what they’ve been working towards.
They had friends from all over the country travel in to Birmingham to celebrate the beginning of their marriage with them. Every person that Alec and I talked to gushed about how much they loved that Eric and Ashley were finally getting married. They’re an amazing team together. So full of life and excitement. I think that the best way to say it is in the words of one of their groomsmen, “They’ve been this joyful together since the moment they met.” I pray that their joy will grow deeper and truer during their years together and that it will bless everyone they encounter and keep their love strong. Alec and I hope nothing but the very best for their marriage and that these images will serve as a constant reminder of the spark that started it all.
