When Josh & Taylor originally reached out to us about shooting their engagement & wedding photos, we were thrilled! Katie went to high school with Taylor back in the day and then we all went to the same college. They are college sweethearts just like us, who met at the same time as we did on the same campus! How crazy, right? They met, became friends, and over time fell for one another. Since then they’ve been inseparable. Now they live in Mobile and go to the same medical school at South Alabama. In fact, they made time for their engagement session with us during their spring break! We’re so thankful for a couple who values photography enough to sacrifice a slice of their vacation for this session!
On the day of their session it was raining, which would scare some couples. They weren’t phased by it. In fact, we think they made that rainy day look exceptionally beautiful! It helps that they are totally in love and ready to celebrate their engagement. Just look through their session and you’ll see exactly what we’re talking about. They’re just the sweetest together!
We can’t wait for Josh & Taylor’s upcoming wedding this June at her Aunt’s home here in Alabama. They’ve got so many beautiful details planned for it that we can’t wait to see play out. It is going to be a beautiful day full of joy & southern charm!
