Ryan & Autumn's Tuscaloosa Engagement - Katie & Alec Photography

We remember when Ryan & autumn first reached out to us, we instantly knew that they were going to be a dream couple. They shared with us their love story featured on their wedding website, and it brought tears to our eyes reading about them. They met after Ryan transferred to UA from UAB to join the music therapy program. That’s when they met in a class they were both in. Their professor always lead the class in the song above on the first day of the semester. Knowing Ryan wouldn’t know the lyrics, Autumn scribbled them down and passed them to the new guy beside her. Ryan still has that piece of paper! That was the start of a friendship that grew and grew into the gentle love they have now.

Ryan & Autumn are so stinking adorable! Seriously, from the first picture we took, they wowed us with how comfortable they were in front of the camera. There is an unmistakable chemistry between them that brings out so much joy. On top of it all, they put so much time and thought into their session from their outfits to the special details they brought with them. When Ryan was planning his proposal, he spent the entire summer leading up to it making individual colored origami flowers. On the day he proposed, he lined the flowers on trail leading up to the spot and told Autumn, “For each one we see, let’s say something we love about each other.” We can’t make these sweet things up people! They are just that sweet!

We had a blast in Tuscaloosa with them, and we have to say they made us feel so welcome! To say we’re thrilled for their wedding this June would be an understatement! We know it will be so full of love, joy, and thoughtful details, just like every aspect of their relationship has been since day one.
