Carlee & Hunter's Auburn University Chapel Wedding

Moments before Carlee walked down the aisle to marry the love of her life, Hunter, we asked her one simple question: “How are you feeling?” Her reaction was priceless. Like a kid waking up on Christmas morning she cracked the biggest smile. She did a little happy dance and replied, “I’m just so excited!!!” It was finally here, their wedding day, and the reality of it was setting in. Moments later she walked past their closest family and friends, on the arm of her father, and made it official. She’s now Mrs. Smithwick!!!

It’s such an honor to get to be a small part of the moments like that. Those little parts of the day no one else sees. Getting to document the joy, the excitement, the love. What an honor it was to be a part of Carlee & Hunter’s day because it was all those things and so much more!!

Their day was perfectly intimate and joyful. In every detail, you could see how much they cared about making their day wonderful for their guests and for themselves. Slate blue and dusty green details made the day feel softer and sweeter. Every detail was so thoughtfully planned and executed beautifully! When we walked into the getting-ready suite Carlee had all her gorgeous details laid out in a perfectly straight line and we knew then it was going to be a gorgeous day!!!

A gorgeous day it was. They were beaming with joy all day long and the love between them was so visible. From beginning to end they created a day so perfectly them and so honoring of their guests. As we’ve gone through and picked photos to share with you today it’s been so though. We just love these two people and their wedding day so much!! We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
