How We Use Honeybook to Streamline Our Business

If you’re a wedding photographer and you haven’t heard of Honeybook stop everything you’re doing. This is a total game-changer!! For us, we came from the popular Dubsado frustrated and looking for a solution to our burnout.

Honeybook seemed too good to be true, especially after moving from another program that was supposed to be amazing. We actually waited TWO years after we heard about it to make a move. It is one of our biggest business regrets! Honeybook just has SO much to offer! So, we thought we’d share a few of our favorite ways it has streamlined our business!

Workflows

This is the biggest blessing! A workflow is the ability to create a pre-set flow of steps you want your client to go through. For us its a combination of email templates, questionnaires and follow ups. All we do is turn the workflow on for new clients and let it be. It saves us from hours of trying to remember to send emails & making sure we get everything sent out at the same time for our couples. Now all we do is let Honeybook do its thing and we work on more important steps.

Email Templates

We had them already on Gmail but what’s unique about Honeybook is it not only allows you to store templates, you can also customize them. You can include email signatures, have an automatic input for client names, and so much more. We even set them up in our workflows, like we’ve mentioned. If you haven’t created email templates, go do yourself a favor and do it now!

Questionnaires

We used to have 2 different questionnaires housed on our website. The client would have to fill them out then it would be emailed to us. Now, we have them integrated on Honeybook and it saves it in their system. It allows us to see their answers in the same place we see their contract, invoices, emails and everything else we need! It’s so streamlined and easy.

Contracts & Invoices

There are a lot of places and ways to create & send your contracts & invoices. We love having them in one place and we even have our templates for them stored. They’re easy to edit, easy to send, and they look so clean. We also get reminders to countersign which helps these forgetful people out. Even better, it automatically reminds clients to make payments and sends out additional reminders when they haven’t paid on time. What a life saver!
