WOW! How crazy to look and think that we’ve posted 300 blogs! That’s a combination of weddings, engagements, wedding planning tips & so much of our lives!! To celebrate we wanted to share a few of our favorite posts with you today!
For one, we loved getting to take a step back in time to when we shared our love story with you. It all started with our post on how we met, with Red Bull & Frisbee. It turned into a 10 part series and we never could have anticipated how incredible the response was. To be able to share our love for our story & marriage has been such a blessing!! We truly believe in the joy of marriage! We also loved sharing our home building process with you. It was such an exciting time in our lives & to have so many of you champion us through the process was surreal!
Over the years we’ve shared tons of tips in our series for both brides and photographers. We’ve poured our hearts into these in hopes that we could pass on some wisdom and advice we wish we had had. Some of our favorites have been ones where we got real and honest, like the wedding mistakes we hate admitting. Others are so practical and ones we truly things we wish our brides knew, like how to prep your wedding day details. Then, there are even more where we genuinely just want to encourage marriage because at the heart of it, that’s why we’re really here. Our post 10 things we love about marriage is one of our favorite blog posts! Others are fun & educational like the 10 things we wish we’d put on our registry. Hopefully they have all helped someone!
We’ve also had the opportunity to share in so many engagement seasons. Engagement sessions are one of our favorites to shoot: we get to go to new places, really get to know our couples, and we get to spend time cheering them on through the process. One of the highlights of our career was traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina for Lauren & Benny’s engagement (and to be able to go to Rhode Island for their wedding next year!!)! Then there are the truly fun ones on the blog, like Christian & Allie’s where they spontaneously decided to visit the ice cream truck during our shoot & included their puppy, Ramsay! Or ones where the day just seemed too beautiful and the couple too sweet for our hearts to handle like Amanda & Alan’s! That light and their smiles were too much!
Our greatest honor though is sharing in the celebration of our clients wedding days. To be able to get a glimpse in on such personal, intimate moments is something that will never be lost on us. We have so many favorites for so many reasons. We have weddings from years ago like Luke & Meredith’s where the story just sticks with us. Their ceremony will always be a favorite! Or, Rhett & Addie’s gorgeous summer wedding at a dream venue, the Antrim in Tennessee. Their tearful first look will always hold a special place in our hearts. Maybe we could talk about how surreal it was to shoot on the field at Bryant Denny Stadium for Hope & Nick! Another favorite post will always be our celebration of our Best of 2018 weddings & engagements blog! It’s a culmination of all our favorite photos from that year (well, all the ones we could fit, we could have fit WAY more).
Then there are posts like when we announced our feature in Southern Bride Magazine! We couldn’t believe our work got featured in such a huge, competitive publication! The response we got was overwhelming!
This sweet mother-daughter moment will always make our hearts melt!! Love them!

All we can think as we go through this post is how honored we are to have this many moments to celebrate! We’re overwhelmed looking back at all the answered prayers God has given us in & through this business of ours! Thank you to everyone who has read our posts, trusted us with their treasured memories, and cheered us on. You all mean the absolute world to us! Here’s to the next 300 blog posts! 🙂
