Molly & Evan’s story started in a unique way neither one of them would ever have suspected: at McDonald’s. It wasn’t a meet-cute like you would expect either…
Evan had taken his little brother out for an after school snack that day. They ran inside to eat, not knowing that Evan was about to see his future wife for the first time. Molly was heading to softball practice at the same time and hit the drive-thru for something quick. Evan caught a glimpse of her and told his brother, “Dang, that is a good looking girl,” in passing. He didn’t think anything more of it, and Molly drove off without even seeing Evan.
That could have been it. Just a guy seeing a pretty girl at a restaurant. A missed connection. But it obviously didn’t stop there…
Evan’s brother, Taylor, knew something about that pretty looking girl from McDonald’s. She was the daughter of his teacher! So, like any 7th grader would the next day at school he immediately told his teacher the news. Before he knew it she gave him a sticky note with Molly’s name & phone number on it for Evan.
Thank goodness Evan texted the mysterious McDonald’s girl that night. That one little interaction snow-balled into a romance to last a lifetime! They started talking then and started dating not long after. Now, these two high school sweethearts are preparing for marriage!
Molly & Evan are absolutely incredible together!! They’re so full of joy, laughter, and genuine kindness! It’s so obvious that they are truly each other’s best friends. Their relationship is solid and steady. There isn’t a doubt in our minds that they have a phenomenal future heading their way. We can’t wait until their wedding next August at Mathew’s Manor! It’s going to be an amazing day getting to celebrate them!
