Five years ago, Alec & I got married. We had little money to our names, and Alec had just started working (two days after our wedding) at a church in Homewood. Every penny we had was put right into savings because we were taking a chance on this little wedding photography business we had started. So, a traditional honeymoon was out of the question.

Instead we opted for a mini-moon to Chattanooga. We loved it, but we had always dreamed of going to Seattle for our honeymoon. That dream never left our minds, and finally, to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary we took our dream trip! We spent 10 days between San Francisco & Seattle visiting so many amazing spots!

While we were there, we knew we wanted to document the occasion! Every year we take anniversary photos, because we didn’t have real wedding photos. We want to make sure we honor our marriage & document it throughout the years. So, we knew we had to document this huge occasion!!

We decided on San Francisco because it had some incredible locations we had dreamed about! The Legion of Honor Museum & Palace of Fine Arts stole our hearts! You’ll totally see why to in the photos, they are so dreamy!

Now, if you’re wondering when our anniversary is, it’s September. Our Anniversary is in September… we took our big trip to San Francisco & Seattle in September… You could definitely say Fall hit these two wedding photographers hard! Haha! Better late than never, right?
