It was a wedding day unlike anything they had expected. Everything had changed in the course of a few weeks…
Right at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic Corban & Qualon’s wedding day was fast approaching. Unlike a lot of couples, they didn’t have the opportunity to reschedule. Corban was already packed up to move, her home gone, and her dad could only get vacation days a year in advance. They had too much riding on this one day, so they chose to get married even if their guests couldn’t be there. Ultimately, they decided as long as they had each other and their parents there they had everything they needed.
So, with only ten people in attendance including us, Corban & Qualon got married this April at the Sonnet House. It was a gorgeous Spring day with amazing weather and even better light. Right from the beginning of the day we could tell Corban was just so excited! They had been waiting for this day for so long and she just couldn’t wait to become a wife! She had a fun, giddy energy that lit up the room. Qualon on the other hand is much more quiet and steady. Even with his calm nature we could tell his excitement matched Corban’s!
From Corban’s first look with her dad to their gorgeous outdoor ceremony at the Sonnet House it was a dream day. They even made time to cut a gorgeous cake and share a toast with their parents to commemorate the special occasion. Of all the sweet moments from their day our favorite was the wands. Yep, you read that right, Corban is a huge Harry Potter fan and had wands ready for a send off that made the day so unique to them! Alec even edited them to be glowing for them which is so fun!!
Really, looking back on their wedding day brings us so much joy. While it may have been a little stripped down in the guest count, they celebrated their marriage! They chose a life together over a big party, they showed their parents so much love and respect and they genuinely soaked up every moment of the day. Honestly, they handled it all with so much grace and joy! It was a true honor to be a part of their wedding day!
