Meredith and Nic met through mutual friends while they were in college at Alabama. They didn’t realize it then, but that chance meeting was the start of a lifetime of joy, laughter and fun together. Over five years later and about 800 miles between them they’re still going strong!
After over a year of long distance they’ve finally been reunited, for a short while. Once they graduated from Alabama Nic moved back to his hometown of Miami Meredith found a job here in Birmingham. They’ve done amazing handling long distance but they’ve missed being together in one place.
So, this Summer Nic has been in Birmingham working between semesters! We’re just so thankful they’ve been able to have a few months where they’ve been in the same city. While they’ve navigated long distance with so much grace and courage they deserve some well earned time together!! Next time they’ll be back together in the same city for this long will be once they get married and they’re together for good!!
We’re so thankful we got to meet up with them while they’re in town together! They lit up our cameras with their bright smiles and pure love for one another. We loved getting to hear about their wedding plans, their future home (Miami) and everything in between. Through it all we could tell how much they care for one another and how truly thrilled they are to be getting married next Spring. They’re planning a gorgeous day out at Swan Lake Stables and it’s got us so excited. It’s going to be a day worth the wait!
