Katie ran outside barefoot with a huge grin across her face. It was like she was dancing around in pure joy and lighting up the world with her joy. For so long, she had dreamed of this. Here she was with the love of her life strolling around outside her childhood home on Lake Martin. With the water glistening as it lapped up against the dock and the sunset glow shining down it was all just perfect.
Seeing the joy on both their faces makes our hearts so happy! He’s the light of her life with a gentle and super fun personality. She’s a burst of light with a care-free spirit. They clearly love one another so deeply and it brings out so much joy in both of them. Their fun-loving, goofy personalities are perfect together and they’re the snuggliest, kindest couple. Man, we could seriously go on-and-on about how incredible Katie & John are.
We loved getting to spend another gorgeous day at the Lamberth home celebrating one of their incredible daughters. It’s the coziest lake home with so much Southern charm. Katie has dreamed of getting married there when the time came since she was a kid. John, or “Googz,” as most people affectionately call him, said she’s been talking about it as long as they’ve been together. So, when they got engaged they decided they wanted to include both the lake home and Children’s Harbor in their photos.
They’ve got the most gorgeous wedding planned for next Spring. Their ceremony will be at both Children’s Harbor with an intimate reception at their private estate, exactly as Katie has always dreamed. We can’t wait to celebrate Katie & Googz!! We’re especially excited to see their vision come to life alongside the incredible team they’ve assembled including the amazing M. Elizabeth Events!
