As they danced under the sparkling chandeliers at the Florentine Building Ellen & Austin kept leaning into one another. More often than not, you could catch them sneaking a sweet hug or kiss in between talking with guests and dancing. The way they swayed and smiled at one another, it was as if they were the only ones in the room.
We can truly say that they spent the entire day full of joy and excitement! Ellen was the calmest bride we’ve ever met and she was just so ready to finally be married to Austin. He was full of nervous excitement at the thought of seeing her walk out to him in a wedding dress. They both just knew that their wedding day was a true celebration of their lives together and all the joy that is to come!
Intentionality is a trait that Ellen and Austin have in spades. Their wedding day was built around family history and honoring everything that led them to where they were. Ellen had sweet heirlooms like her Grandmother’s necklace on, an heirloom broach, and they even got married at the church she grew up in. In fact, it was the church her parents got married at over 3o years ago. It held so many important memories already like her getting baptized, so it only made sense to make their next big memory there.
Along with that intentionality, they included so many timeless elements. We especially love their invitation suite and gorgeous color palette. The soft pink along with the bold pops of burgundy was gorgeous! Having to narrow down our previews for their wedding at the Florentine Building was so difficult. There are just too many favorites!
Ellen & Austin, we could keep going on about how amazing y’all are or how much we loved your day. At the heart of it all, we really just want to say how thankful we are that we got to be your wedding photographers. We’re so excited for you both and are always here to cheer you on and pray for your marriage! We love y’all both!!
Blessings,
Katie & Alec
