It’s rare to hear of high school sweethearts, but middle school sweethearts are virtually unheard of. William and Tori are one of those elite couples who have literally grown up together. They started dating back in middle school as 8th graders and are still going strong today! In fact, they just celebrated their biggest milestone yet, their engagement.
William did such a fantastic job planning everything along with their moms (who are adorable and happen to be best friends!). His family owns some gorgeous land outside of Birmingham with an old work barn sitting on it. Behind it is nestled a small pond, and it’s surrounded by lush green grass and trees. It’s quiet, beautiful, and a special place for him & Tori. She even called it her favorite place in the world.
The trick was how to get her there without it being obvious. So, William planned a fake dinner to get her dressed and ready. On their way, he said he left his wallet at the barn earlier so they needed to stop by. Little did she know, inside that barn, their families were waiting with a gorgeous party set up inside!
As they got out, William lead her to the front of the barn where he got down on one knee. Her reaction was so sweet as she brought her hands to her face in surprise and quickly said “yes!!” After all this time she couldn’t have been more sure about marrying him! The next thing she knew she peered over and saw us taking photos, and quickly after that their families came out to congratulate them! It was the best kind of shock and surprise.
After that, we explored that gorgeous property and took some engagement photos to celebrate! They were beaming and genuinely so excited. Their love showed in every photo, every smile, and every little look between them.
It was such a huge honor to be a part of such a big moment for them! They’re such kind, wonderful people and they have equally amazing families. We just know they’re going to thrive in their marriage and can’t wait to see what God has in store for them!
