Macy and Kevin first met at a Birmingham-Barrons baseball game. They weren’t there with the same group, but their groups started intermingling. Kevin was shy, so Macy didn’t think much of the interaction. It wasn’t until a month later that they met again, and the man who had seemed so shy showed her just how kind, fun, and wonderful he was. Ever since that fateful day, Macy and Kevin have been inseparable.
For their engagement session, they chose just one spot so we could make the most of it, and it turned out to be such a great decision! It’s been a while since we have shot at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens greenhouse, but man, it was a beautiful “welcome back.” The cactus room there has always been a favorite, but Macy & Kevin’s session is hands down our favorite photos we have ever taken there. The gardens are just so gorgeous in the spring!
We truly cannot wait to get these precious humans in front of our cameras again for their wedding photos + film this fall! Their wedding will be at TJ Towers, which is always a favorite with those giant windows and the sense of history that lives there. We shot Kevin’s sister’s wedding, Kenley, a few years back, so we’re thrilled to serve this sweet family again as they welcome Macy to the family!
