The entire day leading up to Callie + Davis’ Birmingham Botanical Gardens engagement session, we kept our eyes on the weather. Rain threatened to postpone their session, so we made a last-minute call to push it up a few hours. Thankfully, the weather was perfect for our session when we got to the gardens! Sunshine peaked through the clouds until the session ended, and the rain was welcome to start after we finished. Just wait until you see the gorgeous blooms in the gardens and the glowy light we got!
Despite the weather, they were just so happy to be there and made the absolute most of their session! One extra fun detail about their photos is that they actually got engaged at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens! They went to take Christmas pictures there, or so that’s what she thought was happening. Little did she know that he would be popping the question that day. We just love that they decided to go back for engagement pictures! Having a special spot like that adds so much more depth and meaning to them, which makes our sentimental hearts so happy!
Callie + Davis will have a fall wedding at the beautiful Bridgestreet Gallery and Loft later this year. We can’t wait to see all their hard work of planning pay off and to celebrate them as they become husband and wife! We’re so excited that the countdown is officially on.
