It was a hot summer day at Legacy at Serenity Farms, where Harper and Andy got married. Honestly, though, people weren’t even upset one bit about the heat because they’re just one of those couples that you would do anything to support them. It was a beautiful day with lush greenery that you only get in the summer, which perfectly suited their classic blue and white wedding style.
Honestly, there are very few occasions where we can’t find the words that a wedding day and relationship deserve, but this is one of them. So, rather than telling you their story alone, here are Harper’s words of how they met and why she fell in love with Andy:
“We met through my roommate in college. She was going to see one of her teachers and got to talk to this guy in line because she needed some help in the class. After they had met, she kept telling me that I had to meet “this country guy.” I’m from Orlando, so I didn’t know many country guys (lol). I was in a season of life where I had not found any suitable men with all the qualities I was looking for in a husband, so after prayer, I decided that I wasn’t going to find my husband at Auburn.
A few weeks later, I was with her in the library studying for semester finals, and he came up to help her. I didn’t even know he was the same guy or that he was coming! I was stressed and studying for a big final that next day, but I couldn’t help but think, “Wow, this guy is cute!” We ended up talking for a while, and I couldn’t help but realize how special this guy was! He was kind-hearted, loved Jesus, and was such a gentleman. We ended up spending multiple days that week in the library “studying,” but I think we spent more time just talking than studying! Both of us laugh now and say that we felt very ill-equipped for our final exams that semester cause we were so focused on getting to know each other!
After finals, we went on our first date to a local pizza place in Auburn and went and saw How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The rest is history, and we have talked every day since! I have learned together over the past 4 years how special Andy is. I feel fully known and loved by him; he always points me to Jesus! We are so blessed, and I am so thankful that God ordained us to serve and love each other forever.”
As you can tell, they’re an incredible couple, and their wedding day was a joyful celebration of their relationship! Their wedding was packed with precious moments, peak emotions, and so many gorgeous details that you are sure to love. Legacy at Serenity Farms was a gorgeous backdrop for their day.
Obviously, we could go on and on about their wedding and how kind they are, but we’ll let the photos do the talking for us. We are just so excited to watch what God does in and through Harper and Andy’s marriage in the many years to come! The Kelleys are going to be such a power couple for the kingdom!
Blessings,
Katie & Alec
