Today, we wanted to share Haleigh + William’s beautiful spring wedding day at the Oaks at Centerville. Normally, we share their story in our own words, but every so often, when a bride knocks it out of the park, we let their words do the talking. So, without any further ado, here’s the story of how Haleigh and William met and ended up as husband and wife.
“We met in high school officially. Throughout middle school/early high school, we were in the same youth group at church but didn’t run with the same people. In high school, our best friends were dating, and they decided we would make a good couple, so my friend encouraged me to ask Will to a formal to have a double date. I asked, he accepted, and he hasn’t left me alone since 😉
We never went through breakups and make-ups. We have been together steadily for 8 years in April, and it has been such a fun adventure together. We have been through high school graduation, me in college and nursing school, him trying college and deciding it wasn’t for him and starting as a UPS driver, promotions at work for both of us, and most recently, house hunting and buying! We really have grown up together and have seen each other mature and develop into new people, and it has been so special.
Fun Fact- There are pictures we have found when going through his mom’s Facebook where there are pictures of him playing soccer and doing things in the youth group at church, and I am actually in the background, totally not involved, lol. We actually played each other often in the PARA soccer league when we were in late elementary middle school, but we were always on different teams. Small world!”
Blessings,
Katie & Alec
Colorful florals = the best! Especially against the greenery of the Oaks at Centerville.
To say we’re obsessed with these bridesmaids’ dresses would be a huge understatement!
Nothing beats a petal toss at sunset!
They waited to see each other until Haleigh walked down the aisle, and it was so worth it! William had everyone tearing up!
Haleigh’s biggest design request was for flowers to be everywhere without necessarily being designated spots. The statue was our favorite little surprise!
