Some moments are simply unforgettable, and Kristina and Andrew’s proposal at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens was one of those! We had the absolute joy of capturing their big moment, which couldn’t have been more beautiful.
Andrew had it all planned out for months, about 6 months to be exact, and Kristina had no idea what was coming. She told us afterward that she had assured all her friends and family there was no way it was happening that day. So when Andrew got down on one knee, she was in total shock! The pure joy and surprise on her face were priceless, and we felt so honored to capture it all.
After the big “yes!” moment, Kristina and Andrew stayed to take engagement photos around the gardens, soaking in the excitement of this new chapter. The gardens provided a gorgeous backdrop—lush greenery and glowy, golden sunlight that made their love shine even brighter.
There’s something so special about photographing a couple in the very first moments of their engagement. The laughter, the happy tears, the way they couldn’t stop looking at the ring—it was all so sweet. Kristina and Andrew’s love for each other was evident in every shot, making our job easy and so much fun. The best part is that they have so much to look forward to. Marriage is such a fun adventure and a blessing in every way!
