The moment everyone in attendance had waited for had arrived. Megan clung to the arm of her beloved dad as she walked towards Christian, towards her future. Their eyes met, and the moment was magic, even when it began to softly rain on the ceremony. The Sonnet House team jumped into action to get an umbrella for Megan, and when they got it to her, she smiled, shrugged her shoulders, saying she didn’t need it, that rain on her wedding day was good luck. The crowd giggled because that’s Megan; she’s the one who’s going to dance in the rain and celebrate every silver lining in life.
Megan and Christian’s whole wedding day was filled with calm, steady, and excited energy. From their precious first look, where Christian melted down at her beauty, to the reception being moved inside because of rain, it was honestly all so much fun!
There were so many beautiful, special moments captured that we had a difficult time narrowing down the day’s highlights. What an amazing problem to have!
Megan and Christian, we hope your marriage is full of that same steady joy and the flexibility and wisdom to dance in the rain. We love you as a couple and will always be cheering you on!
