A Church of the Highlands & Iron City Wedding

Mattie slipped her hand quietly & thoughtfully into Blake’s. She held it tight as her eyes welled up with tears. They stood there inside the chapel at Church of the Highlands on their wedding day, reading the letters they had written one another. Tears flowed down her cheek as she read Blake’s words and a huge smile moved across her face. It was a quiet moment surrounded with more joy than you could imagine.

Their wedding day was just that, a joy! If you know Mattie & Blake, you know what we mean. They’re the epitome of the word! We couldn’t have counted the number of excited giggles, sweet glances, and moments of pure excitement we witnessed! There were so many incredible moments between them. The whole wedding day reflected that.

Three sweet first looks happened throughout the day! One with her dad, one with her bridesmaids, and one with Blake. You’ll see in quick succession how loved they both are and the sweet reactions that followed. Between that and the letter exchange, it was all so sweet. Everyone around them surrounded them with encouragement, love, and so many kind words as they started their marriage. It’s a testament to the kind, amazing people they are!

A huge blessing on their wedding day was the incredible weather. Mattie loves the Fall and has always dreamed of a Fall wedding. The air was cool & crisp, it was the dreamiest Fall day!
