5 Things You Didn’t Know About Us

Everyone has their weird quirks and habits that if other people know it would make them laugh and would honestly surprise them. Alec and I are definitely no exception to that! One thing we firmly believe in is sharing who we are with our awesome couples and clients. We just wanted to take a moment to share some facts that you might not know about us. To be honest, Alec is much more exciting than me and has way more interesting than I am, and with that, we will start with me!

5 facts about Katie

1. I am obsessed with animals. Growing up I had a horse, several dogs, gerbils, rabbits, fish, and I would easily have a farm full of animals now if I could! Both Alec and Dixie the kitty would hate that though, they don’t like sharing the attention ;).
2. I visit our local Target at least once a week. Alec hates it, but I would easily visit much more often if he would let me. I mean, I am an expert with my cartwheel app!
3. Public speaking is one of my absolute favorite things. Weird, I know, but there is nothing quite like it that makes me feel so alive.
4. Succulents make me so, so happy! Seeing them at weddings is one of my favorite things! They’re just so beautiful and they can bring so much life to any home or wedding.
5. I think there is nothing so sweet as handwritten notes and letters. In fact, Alec just bought me a calligraphy kit for beginners and I’ve had so much fun writing to all our family and friends.

5 facts about Alec

1. Alec can fascinate a crowd with his amazing magic tricks! He’s been practicing magic for eleven years.
2. He can also juggle, balance things on his face, do back-flips, and he’s even learning how to ride a unicycle. Basically, anything someone in a circus could do.
3. Not only is Alec phenomenal at photography, but he can also make amazing videos, do graphic design work, and is a pro at Photoshop.
4. If Alec had his way he would eat nothing but pop tarts, hamburgers, and nachos the rest of his life. He would live on any foods that children 7 and under would eat.
5. Alec is the coolest person in the world. Not kidding, this is the official decision made by the children I nanny. They’ve decided that he has so many cool talents that no one could ever be cooler, oh and at 6 foot 4 they’ve also voted him the tallest person in the world!
