Life Lately

It’s been one of those seasons in life where we have been gloriously busy living out our calling and at the same time near the brink of exhaustion when we think of everything we have going on. Life lately has been a beautiful storm.
This has been a big, busy month for us as wedding season kicks off with 3 different bridal sessions, several engagement shoots, family portraits, and so, so many wonderful client meetings on top of it all! We are so excited to be able to share these sessions with you! In fact, we’re in a sort of love-hate relationship with our bridal sessions because we LOVE them for every reason possible, but we hate that we can’t share them until the different brides’ wedding days! It’s one of the most difficult parts of our job, sitting on these beauties until the day of! We’ve also got a super secret styled shoot in the works with some truly amazing vendors here in Birmingham and we’re counting down the days until we get to see it all come to fruition!!
We’re so thankful for the amazing opportunities we have, and its worth the sleepless nights, the drowsy mornings, and the grunt work that goes along with it all. We just love where God has brought us to and how it’s so much greater than anything we ever could have planned for ourselves! We love our phenomenal couples, all the new venues we’ll be shooting at this year, the gorgeous images we get to ooh and ahhh over! It’s just all so worth it, so worth it!
Oh, and because we can’t post any of the actual bridal portrait shots from our first this month we wanted to share some behind-the-scenes looks at us shooting and the gorgeous location for our late April wedding in Monroeville, Alabama!
